Mt. Roothaan Photo Adventure

Explore the some of the most rugged mountains in the Inland Northwest during this adventure-themed, backpacking workshop.

Saturday, August 29th to Sunday, August 30th, 2020

The Selkirk Mountains are an exceptionally rugged and remote mountain range along the Northern Washington and Idaho border.  Made up entirely of bullet hard granite, dotted with sub-alpine spruce trees and dozens of alpine lakes, these mountains have captured my imagination and attention almost exclusively for the last 10 years.  Here is your chance to embark on my favorite hike in my favorite mountains on the planet while capturing it like you never thought possible.

Take your photography to the next level

This workshop is your chance to capture stunning images that you can be truly proud of while getting one-on-one instruction and guidance from professional outdoor photographer Chris Celentano.  Explore some of the most remote country in North Idaho while also learning how to take your images to the next level.  Not only will we be covering landscape and nature photography, we will also be covering Outdoor Adventure photography.  This is your chance to learn how to make your audience feel like they are apart of the action through your photos. Learn to capture awe inspiring landscapes among jagged granite peaks while looking down across huge cliffs and talus fields.  Learn how to take your adventure photography to the next level by capturing immersive adventure photos of hikers, campers, climbers, and tents.  This workshop will also include an astrophotography/night segment where we will be shooting the stars and lit up tents in an awe inspiring landscape from mighty Mt.  Roothaan.
